author's note: this is the recipe of the latest frosting i used for my brownies. i got it somewhere on the internet and *modified* it. this is *somehow* stable enough to be used for production purposes. d=
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 4 tablespoons cream
  • a few drops of vanilla extract
cream together butter, cocoa, and sugar. add the cream and vanilla extract. mix well. spread onto baked brownies while still warm.

some tips:
you may lessen the amount of cocoa for a milder chocolate taste. the mild and sweet taste of the frosting will contrast the strong chocolatey taste of the dark brownies... i think. ^_^
you may also adjust the amount of cream (i used all-purpose cream) until the desired consistency is achieved. since you will be using a small amount of cream, it would be better if you have a chilled can of peaches ready so that the rest of the cream will not go to waste. XD

that's it. if ever you find a flaw on this recipe, tell me, i would appreciate it. i'm still experimenting on other possible frosting recipes i can use on my brownies. you may also share your recipes with me. that will be fun. hm... how about an open recipe initiative? ^_^
