this is an experimental recipe i cooked for lunch today. i just thought i might share it.

  • 2 T butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cans button mushroom, cubed
  • dash of salt
  • dash of black pepper
  • basil leaves
  • few drops of olive oil
  • pasta of your choice
cook pasta according to package. drain and set aside. saute garlic in butter. add in mushrooms. cook for a while to let the garlic flavor seep into the mushrooms. add salt, pepper, and basil leaves. cook for 5 minutes. add in pasta and olive oil. mix well.

you may actually do some changes. you may add more garlic if you want. you may use a can of mushrooms instead of two and a can of tuna. i used basil leaves that come in a shaker bought from the herbs/spices section of the grocery. lastly, put parmesan cheese on top. i used shredded cheddar cheese since i can't find any parmesan cheese in the kitchen. ]=

in this recipe, i liked how the mushrooms have a taste of garlic. this recipe is pretty simple, yet tastes pretty much like the ones we eat at the pasta & pizza restaurant we usually go to. hm...
